About Just-My-Opinion.org

In the mid 1980’s I had a Mentor named Richard who was very fond of saying, “Opinions are like a*****’s, everyone’s got one!”  When I would speak publicly,  I would preference my talk by quoting Richard and then adding that this is just one a******’s opinion.  I found that this self-deprecating statement allowed people to ‘not take it personally.’  Later on in my speaking career,  I added and sometimes substituted the phrase from Dennis Miller’s closing tag line, ” It’s just my Opinion, I could be wrong!”.

Just-My-Opinion.org was born out of the desire to share some of life’s lessons with stories, balance, compassion and equanimity.
