This is a very different movie. On the surface, one thinks here are two 45 year old men going through a mid-life crisis (they are!). Yet, this is such a rare, one of a kind movie, in that the intertwining of their ‘mid-life calling’ leads through the sexual into the spiritual. This is a very profound movie, going so deeply to the core of the natural of reality, the search for G-d within, the juxtaposition of trying to balance Freedom, Family, Sexual desire and Spiritual fulfillment. I highly recommend it….

My teacher used to say:

“Confusion is a high state as long as you don’t stay there.”

Confusion means that something new is coming into our consciousness that we haven’t quite accepted yet. An old thought form or belief system is still in place and we’re not quite ready to let it go.There is a cross over between these two thought energies pulling at our mind.

This is confusion.

It’s a high state because we are moving from an old paradigm into a new one. This is progress, evolution or involution. People who are perpetually confused and confounded are not the subject of this discussion! We are talking about movement into new higher territory and the mental friction that is part of the natural process of getting there.

I do.

We were all there yet few of us remember. Why and why not? Is the memory so deeply buried that it takes the unraveling of layers of consciousness to reveal what has always been there? As the conscious mind begins to be make conscious the so called sub-conscious, many fascinating memories are found. Psychologists have been saying for decades that we only use 5-10% of our mind. Are you interested in what’s in the other 90%? I am. As a dedicated explorer of the inner and outer worlds…I’m all in!
